Welcome

The ISNPS (International Society of Non-Parametric Statistics) conferences take place biennially. The Fourth Conference of ISNPS is scheduled to take place in Salerno, Southern Italy, June 11-15, 2018 and is co-sponsored by the IMS, the ISI, and other organizations.
The venue is the Grand Hotel Salerno, which is located on the bay of Salerno.
Salerno is 34 miles (55 Km) south of Naples, and in less than one hour can be reached by bus or by train from the Napoli Capodichino International Airport, connected to many European cities by direct flights. Salerno is also well connected with Rome and Roma Fiumicino International Airport, by direct high speed trains which in two hours will take you to Salerno.

The conference will bring forth recent advances and trends in several areas of nonparametric statistics, in order to facilitate the exchange of research ideas, promote collaboration among researchers from all over the world, and contribute to the further development of the field. The program will include plenary talks, special invited talks, invited talks, contributed talks and posters on all areas of nonparametric statistics. A round table discussion on the constitution of ISNPS and future conferences will also take place.

Researchers that are interested in ISNPS and/or would like to participate in its Fourth Conference by giving a contributed talk or poster are encouraged to register on the conference platform.

The venue is the Grand Hotel Salerno, Via Lungomare Clemente Tafuri, 1 - 84127 Salerno (SA), which lays on the Gulf of Salerno, at a walking distance from the train station.
Salerno is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was the seat of the oldest Medical University in Europe, the Schola Medica Salernitana, the most important source of medical knowledge in Europe in the early Middle Ages, regarded by many as a forerunner of modern Universities.

Salerno is located in Southern Italy, 34 miles from Naples International Airport (50 minutes by direct bus or by train), but it can also be easily reachable from Rome (2 hours by direct high speed trains).

Salerno is situated in the middle of two enchanting coasts, the Amalfi and Cilento coasts.

It has several touristic attractions and museums, together with a beautiful promenade, and it is well connected with many of the most famous touristic sites in Southern Italy (all reachable in no more than half an hour by train/bus/ferry): charming seaside locations like Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, Capri, Ischia and Sorrento; important Greek and Roman archeological sites like Pompei, Ercolano and Paestum; and beautiful natural landscapes like the Mt. Vesuvius National Park and the National Park of Cilento and Vallo di Diano.

- All speakers and poster presenters must register online ON or BEFORE April 30, 2018; registration of speakers and poster presenters by April 30 will allow us to streamline the program that will involve multiple parallel sessions;

- Partial refund of registration fee (less 100 Euros) will be provided for cancellation on or before April 30, 2018; no refund will be accorded for cancellation after April 30, 2018;
